Is it totally typical that I've been thinking about writing a blog for months now & just never have. Mostly because I've been trying to think of a cute name for it. I finally settled on "Oh Boyer" and decided to just go with it! Is it worse to admit that I've had a blog before but then deleted it? As I read through my posts the word "ew" just kept coming to mind. So here I am, starting a new blog. Totes Typ.
It's been 3 months of being married to my best friend & I can honestly say I love it! There's hardly been any surprises or real adjusting. It's been pure bliss! What's even better is I'm graduating with my bachelors in just a few short days! I mean, what is life?? I've finished school in a little less than three years & I'm wondering what to do next. Maybe Grad School, but to be real, I'll probs be opening up a craft store of some sort! At least I can dream! Feel free to shoot good ideas at me..for now Netflix will be entertaining me!
During these three months, I have learned a lot about myself.
1. I HATE being alone and bored with nothing to do. Since I am graduating soon... I am doomed. I need a job instead of just an internship.
2. When it comes to dinner... I am good if I try. But I hate going to the store and I hate the hours of 5-8pm when I know I need to start thinking of dinner. Not my forte thats for sure.
3. I am extremely scared of bugs. Any kind. I will trap it under a box or something until Conrad comes home to kill it. If its a spider. I will throw a shoe at it, cross my fingers that it injured the spider in a way where it can't move and then I will leave the house.
4. I need a dog.
5. Have I mentioned that I HATE being alone. I mean really, i H A T E it!
Anyways, other than those 5 things.. everything has been just peachy. I don't get why everyone says marriage is so hard. Maybe we haven't hit that point yet, but I don't really think we ever will. It's just like dating but better. We don't have to say goodnight, I share his bank account, he compliments me on how I look every day, we have our own Netflix account, he is forced to play monopoly cards with me every night until I win... ya know, so on and so forth.
I feel that it would only be fair to warn you about what this blog is about! A little time line to get to know us just a tad bit better: Conrad and I met my second semester of school, and started dating in November of 2013. We got engaged December 2014 and married in April of 2015. Time flies when you're having fun right? He is probably the only reason I stayed sane while working part time and going to school full time. Its been quite an adventure and I am eternally grateful for him! We are both members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is a nurse and I am... well I am graduating in Health Science and hoping to go on to grad school in the next year or so! We haven't figured any of the nitty gritty details of our life together, but that's the fun part right? & since I have NO idea what to write about at this moment.. I will leave it here. I promise more exciting things will come!
