Okay, Okay.. so the title was a little dramatic. But that is honestly how I've felt the last week and a half. I read a quote that said "August is the Sunday of Summer." Honestly, that is pretty much true. With Conrad working day & night I find myself going a little stir crazy! I've applied to 6-7 different jobs. Out of those 6-7, so far one has called me back. But the problem is, that ONE is located in Boise... go figure. But its only been a couple days...sooo. Can you tell I'm impatient?! I can't complain too much. Last week Conrad & I accomplished a lot! I started working on my pallet signs and selling them! So far we have got the pallets, cut (some of) them, sanded (some of) them, stained (some of) them and painted them! We only did one pallet and I forgot how much work goes into this! The product is worth it thats for sure! If any of you want a sign, let me know!
We also went to Yellowstone with my Brother! That was really fun. Right as we were leaving I said, "All I wanted to see was a buffalo. Thats it! Tyler said, "All I wanted to see was a bald eagle." Then of course as the time was crunching and we needed to get back there is a HUGE line. Finally as we are approaching the end of traffic... THERE WAS A BUFFALO! Then, of course, Tyler sees a bald eagle. So you can definitely say that our little Yellowstone vacation was complete!
With all this free time I FINALLY put a little wedding video together. Yes, it is pretty long, but like I said, with all my free time. I was able to print out my pictures all out and start scrapbooking again. Its looks pretty darn good if I do say so myself. When I get the finished project, you bet I will share it with y'all! I also rearranged our E N T I R E living room, just to put it back again. All I kept thinking during this was, "If the TV falls down.. I am running away because Conrad will murder me. Literally." Safe to say, the TV did not fall. That TV has saved my life this past week. I started the series, Parenthood, on Netflix. Its also safe to say that by now, I absolutely hate the theme song to it. I am in the second season (no judging), why is it still playing the whole way through?!
Even though the two posts contained my complaints of being so bored... I am so grateful for the time I get to relax a little bit. While making my wedding video and scrapbooking all my pictures, I am reminded of how lucky I am to have the friends, amazing husband and the wonderful family that I do! Everything really has fallen into place for us and like I have said before, marriage has hardly been an adjustment for us. I owe a lot of that to my parents/family and in-laws. We had our perfectly, cute and amazing apartment fall into our laps along with the furniture, Conrad and mines job(s), and both graduating with our bachelors degrees this year, and some plans for our future. We have been blessed beyond belief. A lot of that is because of our faith in our Lord and staying true to the gospel. With all of the chaos and confusion going on with trials in the world, it is so comforting to know that we have a temple so close and we are able to talk to our Heavenly Father to get guidance and direction. I am so grateful for temples and to be able to go with my husband! I am especially grateful to have been married in the temple to my sweetheart! Enjoy the buffalo picture! :)
